A newbie Bullet 286QBS owner here. Our first TT. We went back+forth on the quad bunks vs the Premier . . . just couldn't rationalize the Premier until we see where we're at in 2 years or so with the impact of kids soccer practices, et al on our weekends. But you guys made it real tough to not go Premier. . My wife momentarily fell in love with the Lacrosse, but I convinced her to stay lighter. A sincere thanks to all the contributors and innovators here that have made this newbie ( a "dumb finance guy") look real smart and confident with the purchases and modifications necessary to make my family comfortable with this experience. From grill conversions to Rhino, lynx levellers, . . . there is just so much valuable information I was able to gather from all of you. We're 4 weeks in and we've already spent a dozen chilly nights in the Bullet across a small geography btwn Vancouver and Seattle -- we can't wait for Summer to start! The shakedown is over, we're officially campers now. |

There are a few trailers we are going to look at tomorrow to replace our trailer that we just bought 10 months ago! Ha! The joy of buying a bigger TV, I guess. Anyhow, our list is the Keystone Premier 31BHPR, Keystone Outback 312BH, Forest River 30VBHS or a Raptor 30FS (my idea). The first 3 are essentially the same trailer with minor variances in options and/or color schemes. The last is the only new bumper-tow toy hauler I found that I consider to be acceptable.

kainen thanks bunches for posting the link. I was in Walmart when I checked the forums and used the ole cell to get to the link you provided. Not sure what I really need but they did have a bulb in store with same #'s as I saw on the pdf file. I'll check it out tonight and hope for the best. Thanks again. kainen wrote:

uusqrd glad you're officially bullet family campers! I think we're all waiting for better weather across the country. It was 38 this morning and wind gust to 50 mph but we're still loving it! I kept thinking we were going to be blown off the levelers last night but we held tight! It's nice to have a camper ready to go when the opportunity arises. I know its hard when kids are so involved in activities. Enjoy it when you can.

I always love it when you post as we have the same model. Where did you get your door, was there a certain size to request, any info is appreciated? This weekend DH and I checked out under the oven and wow is there LOTS of room. Not sure if it was money saving to not put door in under oven as it shows in one on their brochure OR if there is a problem with heat from the oven. That's something to consider what you put under there and how close to the oven you let things get. Shouldn't be trouble with pots and pans though! We're going to make a list of things to do over next winter, one will be to definitely put in a few more outlets. We just finished 10 days of freezing temps, horrid winds and had a great time in our TT! Enjoy the lake huskerdude! Huskerdude wrote:
