Moose, what model number is that spacemaker? I'd like to look into doing something like that.

Fellow bullet owners, I'm looking for a heater for the bathroom. Anyone purchase one lately? Those that camp in cooler temps, do you find it useful to have an extra heater? What size would you recommend for the bathroom, such as a personal size 750w or maybe just get a 1500w that works anywhere? Have you found it nice to have one for the living area, bedroom, bath? Where do you place it and plug it in? I'm so ready to get to the campgrounds but its still so cold here (just snowed) and I really want a heater to specifically warm up the bathroom! Just doesn't get warm enough in there for me, no heat vents!

Our Outback does'nt have a heat vent in the bathroom either a little chilly when getting out of the shower so a ceramic space heater before entering the shower works just great.

That coffee maker looks great. Too bad in the 31BHPR there isn't the under cabinet space for it.

As for space heaters, we are cold weather RV'ers (we're currently out right now) but so far have just turned up the furnace. The back room doesn't get as warm as the front bedroom and I've thought about getting a space heater but I was worried about how much of a power draw the trailer wiring can support.

What are your thoughts on partially blocking off one of the front vents to help force more heat out of the rear vent?

One heater I've been looking at uses 1500 watts of electricity on high drawing 13 amps and on low drawing 6.7 amps. I think it will work if I just leave a few things on, like the water heater!

In our camper there is one heater vent at the foot of the bed for the bedroom area. What I found at the end of last camping season is that our bedding fell to the foot of the bed and covered that vent! I'll have to fix that this year. I don't know how closing vents will help, maybe someone else does?

The duct that goes to my rear bunk area vent was disconnected at the furnace, figured it out while camping one night, wondered why it wasn't getting as warm in the back. I could see it through the louvers under the oven? Or fridge? Can't remember which one it is under. I had to go get a set of the square bits for those screws to take the panel off to fix it.
May want to check that out to make sure your ducts are all attached good.

Earl,

Is the back of your TV panel, held on with the square bit screws too?

Think mine is.

Surge Protectors revisited:

I've made the decision to purchase one. Now the question is to get one that you hard-wire or get a portable one. I know there is risk with portable being stolen. Anyone in the bullets here install one? Where do you install it and how difficult is it?

Not sure it makes a difference but I've the 29REPR model.
