Talk about frustrating. For the heck of it I called Camping World's service dept to see if they have experience installing a Pro Pride Hitch. They never even heard of it. They heard of the Hensley and unfortunately will not do the install. I know techincally I can do it myself but would rather someone more experienced. Bummed.

who ever you get the coach from will do the install when you take delivery. i wouldn't drive off or accept delivery until they do.

See pimp thats the thing. I'm buying the trailer from Camping World and the service dept said the have never done a Pro Pride Hitch nor the Hensley. I'm stunned and seeking ideas because I prefer the Pro Pride hitch.

WOW! are you just talking to one idiot, or have tried to climb the idiot totum pole to get better answers? i guess you could buy the hitch you prefer then read the instructions and take it to them to install, and watch them to make sure they are doing it correctly. then charge them half the price of the hitch for the continueing eductation credits lol!

The Bullet Premier and the Passport are very similar (if not identical) in construction so I think you would be able to do the same. I purchased a Bulldog Accessory hitch that bolted to the frame of the camper. I was then able to use a valley reciever mounted bike rack. The only modification I made was to replace the reciever insert with a 3 ft long piece of 3 in solid square stock. I did this so that I could get the rack out past the spare tire mounted on the back of the trailer. I have used this setup for 3 years and so has my brother. Neither one of us have had any issues with it in this time frame. Great post. You can tell everyone is counting the days to hit the campgrounds! A camping we will go. A camping we will go. Hi-ho the derry-o. A camping we will go. I think I will make a list of all these things to check on our own camper when we can get it out of storage. Thanks everyone. F250 Diesel Lariat Laissez les bons temps rouler! |

Has anyone replaced the rear two step into the bathroom with a three step like the one in the front? That two step is always too high off of the ground for our kids to get into and out of so we have to bring a portable step. I wonder why the factory didn't put a three step back there?

Pro, I've heard some have come with the 3 step... I've been wanting to change mine but really haven't agressively shopped for one yet. If you find one, post it here.
