Topic: Keystone Bullet Premier

Mine has been great! I plan on selling it though because now my wife wants a fifth wheel. I'm good with that though because all of our friends have fifths. I've had minor issues with mine just like most everyone else. Really not too big of a deal.

Hi all Bullet owners,
I'm attaching a picture of the air matress in our 2012 28RLPT. Notice several of the bolts have let go making to uncomfortable to sleep on. I will be calling Keystone to see if warranty will cover it. Just wondering if anybody else has had this happen?

I spoke with the Keystone rep and since its still under warrentee they told me to contact the dealership where I bought the TT so I called Dave Arborgast RV up in Ohio. I spoke with the warrentee rep and sent her a couple of pictures and now have a new matress on the way.
I think both the dealership and Keystone do a good job.

Fenster and Greg. Thanks for the replies! We stopped in our local RV center yesterday and looked at the Premier again. We are in love with it for sure. It's great to know that other owners are happy with their investment. We are going to buy it this weekend. We hope to meet you all in a campground some day.

If you would have posted here before the 4th, I would have said come on down to Shenandoah Crossings campground, and you could have seen 1st hand what it looks like loaded with stuff and set up. Really get a feel for storage, space inside, etc..

We've been very happy with ours. Storage does leave something to desire, but the PROs heavily out-weigh the CONs for us.

The black and grey tanks are on 30gal, so with a fam of 4 or more, get used to dumping the grey tank, I normally only have to dump the black tank once on a 3 night stay, and that is before we leave, twice on a 5 nighter.

The first thing I did when I bought mine though, being a have a 2year old with sticky fingers, I replaced all 4 speakers (2 inside, 2 out) with speakers that could handle him turning the radio/movie/cd all the way up and it not blow them. plus the sound quality is 50x's better now. Other than that, no major mods yet...

Glad you chimed in. Please fill me in on the speakers you bought. Not very please with the sound quality. That's next on my mod list. Also again worth mentioning, I installed the Steadyfast system and it takes 90 percent of the bounce out.

Take care guys and good luck

I have a 31BHPR and the skirting over the wheel well on the slide out side keeps breaking off due to wind. I have been back to the dealership before and the fixed it the first time by putting some aluminum braces under there but after this last trip I noticed it was breaking again and the aluminum braces were also broken.

Anyone having this issue that has gotten it resolved thru the dealer that resulted in a permanent fix?

I will go home tonight, and get you the exact brand and model I used. My neighbor does home audio/theather/etc... I had him take care of it for me. He went with Clarion, gave me the reason why over Sony, Polk, etc... I'll call him as well and find out why he chose those as well and let you know tomorrow. Could have been price/quality as I wasn't trying to spend 1k on 4 speakers.

Thanks. I'm not happy with the sound at all. Ask him how the install was. Should be just 4 screws and untwisting and retwisting some wires.

I had to have the panel replaced due to mine cracking after one of my faring braces snapping during the first year. I'm having a few more faring braces put on so it doesn't happen again. If you search all 73 pages, this too happened to Virtual Garage and his fix seemed a lot better than the cheap braces they put on at the factory. Unfortunately these braces cant be ordered either from Keystone or I would have fixed mine .

In the ceiling, I replaced my speakers with the brand Scoche from Walmart. It was about 30.00 a pair for the 6.5 inch. They do sound better with a bit more bass and more treble. The nice thing is the white speaker grills in the camper fit over the new speakers so you don't see any difference in appearance.
