We have the same unit so the radiant oil heater will keep us warm topside. Guess its time I ask for some education on the heating. I believe there is a 4th heating vent that heats the underbelly.

TY for the quick response. I just read about the 2" pipe from furnace to underbelly. We've not worried about that yet so its slipped my mind as to how the thermal package worked. Nice to be reminded and makes me anxious for an early spring now!

Our first full night here in Kansas and the temp dropped down to 26 that night. Sadly, my 1500w portable was not able to keep up. We have gone through 3 tanks in about a week now. Keep in mind that is 3 days traveling with the fridge on gas, one night of dry camping in driving snow with temps in the low 30s, our welcome back to Kansas night of 26, cooking 3 meals a day, and hot water. Today the winds are going crazy, with 45 mph gusts, 20 mph sustained, and we have not felt hardly a draft inside. So far I'm pretty impressed by the trailer and how it handles the cold. But then again, it is only November.

I was pleasantly suprised to discover the built-in shut off valve for the hot water heater when its time to winterize. Thank you Keystone!

Yes! I agree it was a nice thing to see. So many little things to learn on these TT's!

Grill trouble: Well the propane grill that comes with the 28RLPR is pretty much a dud and doesn't appear to get enough fuel to the jets to do anything more than about a 1/4 inch of blue flame. This appears to be the low setting and I suspect a faulty regulator control. This is a new trailer and I sent in the warranty card per mfg. instructions to YSN Imports Inc. and just got it back in the mail as undeliverable. Today I shall call Keystone and see what can be done. Has anybody else experienced this problem with the grill? |

Seems my operating instruction booklet for the Flame King grill was quite out of date and they are very much in business but at a different address. I shot them an email and got a pretty quick response directing me to somebody who can help. I called them and am awaiting a reply. More later. Kevin |

Hey everyone, I've been MIA for quite some time from this great forum but still love it here and of course our Bullet. The happiness our Bullet brought my family this year has been fantastic! We lived in ours for 2 weeks in between moving in a new home too --Saved us renting a place! Since my one year warranty is up in February I had a bunch of fixes on mine. Here is the quick laundry list of warranty work from what I can remember. 1) Axle bent, replaced it and uneven worn tire 2) Chrome center cap began to peel ??? 3) replaced Faring brace, and wheel well fenders which they had to paint 4) stairs on front door. They broke somehow coming down them one morning? 5) replaced the door handle on bathroom door. 6) May be wrong on the name but believe it was thermo coupling on oven it would shut off after 10 minutes of use So I wasn't overly upset as that stuff was all covered. Hope everyone has a good off season too. Question. I'm about to detail, clean, and cover my RV for the winter. Does anyone know what the exact measurement is for our RV? I'm about to purchase the Designer series Cover and my Bullet is still at Camping World. Also any tricks on cleaning the underside of my awning? My off season mods that I didn't around too are 1) Steadyfast Stablizer to remove the bounce 2) Upgrade the outside speakers, maybe inside too 3) Custom Dallas Cowboy spare tire cover LOL Thanks, Fenster 2011 Bullet Premier 31BHPR with comfort package Pro Pride Hitch w/ Prodigy P2. Great November weather here in MA this year. I still havn't winterized but I will be getting it done tomorrow. I went camping last week and the first half of the week it was sunny and low 70's! The campground still had their water on too so it was almost like I was camping in late September! Here is a picture, the dog was very happy too!![]() |
