We may not get rain again until Saturday. I feel bad for the people in the southwest USA. They're running low on water. I hope that doesn't last.

Saw some news about the southwest and the lack of rain....and record heat. May add to my bucket list to go visit Desert Mead in the future.[emoticon]
Unreal how far the lake has dropped.

We were at Hoover Dam about three years ago. The water level was low then and it's only getting worse.
I always wanted to sea the Salton Sea but never made it that far.
It sounds like Lake Mead will be, as you said, Desert Mead.

Got the grass cut, birds fed and watered in the morning. Around 5pm it was like Hoover Dam busted, water everywhere. Rained so hard that the runoff from the patio roof over shot the gutter. But like Lake Mead,it didn't last.

We received a lot of rain last night but, no thunderstorms or high winds.
It's cool and gloomy today. Probably more rain coming later today.
