Mine is made of very fine copper mesh and a grounding wire is attached.
Without the ground link attached I doubt that the pictured hats would be 100% effective. A type of Faraday Cage for the head. Faraday Fedora.

I feel much better since I've been wearing mine. I completely blocks all Billy Mays commercials. Trust me. Would I lie?
