I have several mods I've done to my travel trailer, including adding a support bracket system to the underside, and a future plan to add an inverter (I have a 1KW model).
Underfloor support:
It's comprised of 6" angle brackets, some Unistrut bars and a 24" wide by 1/8" thick aluminum sheet.

Here is the before assembly picture. It's upside down, and the bars haven't been cut yet.

And now it's installed:

Now the electrical part is pretty cool: I'm making a fully automatic transfer system between shore power and inverter power. It even shuts off high-current circuits like the converter, air conditioner, water heater and auxiliary battery charger circuits.

another mod I'm doing is adding extra circuits (battery charger and converter). Right now, the converter is on the same circuit as the "general" circuit.

Just learning all about trailering with something longer than my 17 1/2' boat or pop-up tent trailer.

I accept any and all advice you can give me, and I hope to be able to help in my limited capacity. ">

Just replaced my led strand that I had on the awning roll after it discolored and quit. Mounted it on the trailer just under the awning this time but also installed a wifi controller for it. That is a cool toy, I am sitting about 75ft away from the trailer and can turn the lights on. Also took the led that was left and put under the trailer above the steps to light them. Added a drawer under the other side of the dinette and a door under the couch where the water tank was. Michael

I'm looking at your lift pictures. I really think you should have the channel iron welded to the frame on the top I have the same type of frame as yours. I built a lift for mine and I didn't think just the bolts through the side would be enough. When you are turning a trailer it exhorts a tremendous pressure on the locating point on the axles.

What is the purpose of the support brackets? Is the floor weak in the trailer?

Yes: the floor was rotted on top, and has a foam core. I replaced some of the foam, and the end result was a spongy floor even with an added 1/2" plywood that had overlapping seams, tons of contraction adhesives and screws holding it together.

The brackets are supports for the Unistrut lengths, which in turn hold up the 1/8" thick aluminum sheeting (which in turn holds up the floor).

The brackets also have the added benefit of stiffening up the steps: I upgraded the brackets on the steps, and now they are very firm and steady.

Hey all, first time poster, this is my 3rd trailer, first 2 were tent trailers, this is a Aerolite Cub C215.

First mod on all of my trailers is interior lighting, i replaced the stock bulbs with SMD Led panels, gives considerably more light, with less power usage.

Sorry no Before pic.

Next mod is a Flatscreen TV, i think this is a 26inch? it's wall mounted, i have the mount stiff enough that i can move enough, but loose enough that it just sits there without additional support while traveling.

it also has a built in DVD player, and USB, so no need for extra components, just needs a power cord, nice and clean.

And last is my exterior lighting, for this i used waterproof led light strip from eBay, tapped in to the exterior light (and removed the bulb from the orange light), so now this is controlled by the factory switch for the exterior light.

Cleaned it up with some white duct tape, and ran a strip of clear gorilla tape over the entire strip to try to keep it clean and secure (especially at highway speeds, not sure i'd trust the stock adhesive)

Lights up the campsite very well, without blinding you if you look at it.

Planned future mods, is LED strips in the outside storage, inside cupboards and a step light, all switch operated so they are only on when the respective door is open.
Also building a stabilizer setup, based off of rockeeze.. hope it works alright.
and i hope to implement some storage options, many of which i found on here.
Oh also a rear hitch for the bike rack, and for our paddle boat, my brother is a journeyman welder so we'll get it done right!

Nicely done. Kinda digging the led's that replaced the porch light. I might have to do that upgrade myself.

yeah it's my favourite too, i just ordered an LED strip dimmer dial for it, so i can control the brightness, will give it much nicer functionality, it was almost too bright some evenings if we were parked close to the fire pit.
