Here is the new one, got it for about 30 bucks at Home Emporium:
Next the stereo and speakers. The speakers were installed on the underside of the cabinet pointing directly down at the couch..it sounded pretty poor as a result and anyone sitting on the couch was blasted away. I installed new speakers in new locations. Here if you look closely you can see the original speakers under the cabinet:
Here is one of the new locations, you can also see the original junky jensen stereo.
Here is the new stereo installed, It has a usb cable coming out the back, I drilled a hole in the sidewall inside the cabinet so I can connect my ipod to it and let it sit inside the cabinet.

Although not in a HTT, we had the same problem except I don't know if our old facuet had as much clearance as yours. Got tired of scraping knuckles trying to wash hands. We put a high arch faucet in as well.

We used the little matching outside hanging table that came with our outside hanging bbq. We don't use the bbq or the table so we cut it up and joined two pieces together to get the needed length. Having the matching material is the tricky part!
Steve
Well, we do use the BBQ and the table.
I guess I could use a solid color that matches as best as possible,
Again thanks for the tip.

Miatared,
Perhaps you could change the outside table top material to something else and use the matching material inside. Our table top was just stapled to a piece of unfinished ply below. Easy to remove and switch it out.
Just a thought.

Mountain Lover wrote: This is not really a mod, but just good use of what's available. The Vizio 19" TV in our little Jayco doesn't have much in the way of quality audio. We almost couldn't hear some stations when the AC was on. I purchased a 3' mini-stereo cable to mini-stereo cable (mini-stereo plug on both ends) and plugged into the headphones output on the Vizio and the other into the audio input on the stereo that came in our Jayco. Turn the stereo on and be sure to push the auxillary input button. You may have to play with the volume knob on the stereo to get the level you desire. Once the proper audio level is achieved you can use the Vizio remote control to control the volume level. The sound now comes through both stereo speakers and is 1000% better than the speakers in the Vizio. We can now hear our TV clearly even when the AC is blasting.
We added a set of computer speakers w/powered subwoofer....it simply plugs into the headphone jack of the TV....awesome sound!!!

Both good ideas. My get all kinds of interference (audio and video) in my Vizio when I turn on the stove top exhaust fan.

The things that come to those that wait will be the junky stuff left by those that got there 1st.

When I turned on my bathroom vent fan I would get that same noise on my outside speakers. I replaced the bathroom vent fan with a Vortex Fan and that solved the noise problem. I wonder if you can replace your stove vent fan with something else and achieve the same results.

For the limited amount that we use that fan, I'm not gonna worry to much. I might plug the TV into a different outlet to see if that helps though.
