We dumped our tanks, filled with water.... disposed of our trash plus some that we'd picked up on the sand dune camp that we'd been staying in.
I hope to have campground pictures in future posts.... my photographer was having problems with her shoulder and seeing where she was shooting.
We are on our way out of the park... more errands to run.
We never saw the driver of the TC coming in except to recognize that it was a woman.... no passenger showing. She never took notice of us... like we do TC's east of the Mississippi River.

If you really need anything for "camping"... or boondocking and you are on South Padre Island you'll probably have to go to the Mainland... or even back to Brownsville.

As I have mentioned.... bridges make Janet nervous.... so I drive the inside lane.
A section of the I-75 Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Florida fell... we'd been accross it many times...
The Silver Bridge at Point Pleasent- to Galapolis, OH dropped into the Ohio River at Christmas about 1969.... we crossed it many times on our Sundry drives when we lived about 35 miles away in WV
A section of the Courtney-Campbell Causeway over Tanpa Bay fell just minutes after we crossed it during Hurricane Agnus in 1972
A few years ago we were in Minn... heading east on the Interstate.... when we had desided at the last minute to head south to Iowa.... if we'd have stayed on our original path we would have been on the Interstate Highway that had a bridge colapse....
She Hates bridges... too many failures...

Act your age! Remember when our parents said that? You two are role models for acting your age in the modern era. No rocking chairs or assisted living spots for us. Out on the edge, pushing the limits, use it don't lose it! Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead! Fear not, learn something new, every day. after day etc.
