Sorry this happened to you. Before you post that you stayed in their parking area overnight you might verify whether they would mind if you recommended others to do the same. Because you stating you did, others might mistakenly believe that this is acceptable and not ask before doing so.

Personally I don't post my locations for the reason that just happened to you. We have no control over what others will do or behave.

I can certainly see how you would be upset Sleepy! You travel there to celebrate a special occasion, to a place you had been warmly welcomed before, just to have them treat you badly. Poor form on their part. You hadn't done whatever pissed them off!

My last words (I hope) on the anger... the rudeness: the problem.

If we were in business and someone robbed us we would be very upset.

If someone took up a bunch of parking spots it would cost a lot... each space is worth $40 to $80 or even a $100 at each meal... and maybe half of that at lunch.... the bar business in the dance hall would be impacted too.

Seeing it repeated over and over would hurt.

If you go.... you'll love the food, the bayou, everything... don't use more than one space... mind your manners.

Thanks... let us get on with the trip.

When we found our favorite level spot and parked we decided to go walking along the lake... too much rich food in a short time.... exercise might help.

Boats always get our attention.
