And re-read your posts!

Any idea Sleepy where I can find the post about your bookshelf? Maybe by date?

Sleepy, I, for one, read all of your posts! Sometimes it's just more fun to follow along without asking you questions about it. It's sort of like experiencing it through you without my own commentary. So thank you (and Janet!) for your travels and posts!

If you check out the link to the bookcase build and the responses you will see one from Blind Bob

He suggested that I might enjoy "Blue Highways" by William Leaat-Heat Moon. I found it on Amazon.com, bought a copy and let it sink to the bottom of a pile of books.

I ran across the book recently... in late November. I started it, and couldn't put it down. It was fantastic... I'll be doing a book report on it in the future.... and it will be a labor of love.

I had forgoten who told me to buy it several years ago... Thanks Jammen... without your bookcase request I'd have never known.

I hope tha Blind Bob is still on the TC forum... I just sent him a note of thanks.

You suggested that I read Blue Highways a few years back... I bought it then. It got buried under one of my piles. I recently read it. thank you so much for suggesting it. It was extremely good.

By the time I'd read it we had crossed Lest Moons path many times... ans shared memories.

Chet

If you like what I share... you'll love his book... "Blue Highways"

... wait until you read the honors it has received.

Chet

Jammin... You might have noticed there is a small difference between the install and the picture that got your attention...

I stopped at West marine and bought a Flush, fold out, Brass pull"... I modified it, inset it into the end of the book case...I can hang my k\jacket on it... it folds flat when not in use... But it's really to hang my trousers on... my blue jeans, etc. It's an old guy thing... you understand! LOL

We stayed all night in Somerset, KY...

Then headed for Cumberland Falls State Resort Park... we had to leave US-27 and travel on crooked back roads to get there.
