While I was removing the dust cover I noticed the vent that I cut into my cabinates for the inverter to exhaust through. About $5 at Home Depot... matches close enough.

We have more than 10 years of cut and paste in this camper.... some of the mods have been about as much fun as some of the travels.

We slept well... it was very quiet. I don't know about you but we make our bed everyday, keep the camper clean... there are always unexpected guests in truck campers... I think some people are curious to see how we can live in that tiny space [emoticon] We enjoy showing them.

We have mementos tucked here and there...
... a picture of our grandson that died in 2006 while we were in California.

A target with a nice group... I like to put a felt tipe Cros make on a head sized gallon milk jug and use it as a target. I cut the side out and put it on the fridge door.

And at the bottom is the lable from a jug of apple cider that the silver sands gave us... I can't read it, it's in French.

I promise to put batteries in the Mickey Mouse clock... maybe the next trip.

As I mentioned the sun is bright...

...do you have this many lights above your sink? ...this is where I tested the LEDs for Bestconverter.com... they are still functioning. I use the original lights ocassionally at home when I am connected to shore power.

I added an extra 12 VDC cig lighter outlet at the far end... we use it to charge cell phones, iPads, and my MiFi data reciever.

We were getting some bad weather reports... the worst ones were east of us. So we decided to head west.

One of the things that we hadn't got a good look at was where the new bridge would tie into US-60. We knew that the bridge was scheduled to open in a little more than a week... but we couldn't wait... I had some medical tests scheduled.

The bridge crew seemed to be throwing every man into the effort.

Janet managed to get a "sort of" open shot as we passed by... we'll have to try to get back that way sometime.
