Good morning Ken and the wonderful Mrs B Happy Holidays!
We stopped at DeLorme in Freeport, Maine on the way back to the States after our wonderful visit with you on the east coast of Nova Scotia. Does our parking spot have snow covering it?
While at DeLorme I bought Street Atlas 10 Plus...with the LT-40 reciever/antenna... the plus telephone number feature is darn near useless now, about everyone we know has cell phones and most have dumped their land lines.... then we don't have access to their addresses either.
Technology moves on as you know (after all, you have laid transatlantic communication cables from ships and operated huge Satellite communications systems dishes)
While on this trip I found that my iPhone5 has a very good mapping syatem... with GPS, and I can talk to Siri instead of typing when searching. I do miss the bigger screen of the Laptop... and Janet as navigator likes the Street Atlas 10 (I have a new Win 8.1 Laptop... but haven't used it for travel) I have a feeling that a apple iPad tablet is in our future.
I can ask Siri for the closest restuarant by name or type... she checks my gps, direction, and gives me the info. (Yes, I know... she is a robotic voice... but she thinks we are dating;>)

I built a computer table in my truck many years ago and posted it on the forum.
I never gave it a thought at the time but the camper was on the truck when I built the table...the camper was level. When I was designing the table I designed it level without thinking about it. I built experiments for a living... level and square are the norm.
The "T" screw at the top left and a pivot screw allows me to totate the table top toward the passenger seat. The rotation feature has seldom been needed. The big hole in the middle is to allow air under the laptop to help cool the battery. The corner pieces have been altered 3 different times for different laptops.
I can lay my iPhone on the table instead of setting up the laptop... not as easy to see though... and the iPhone doesn't need the LT-40 in the front window.

The edge of the table is inline with the direction the truck is pointed.
