Janet keeps an eye out for oddities (she spotted me more than 50 years ago).
As we were heading for the State Park campground she said to me, "Hey look! I do think it's a Belted Galloway
Truth is... we had no idea... it was different than any cow we'd ever seen. She quickly snapped a picture.
Silversands comment gave me a direction to search... and the link above is interesting. I'd almost bet that no one else on RV.net will recognize the Belted Galloway or commet on it.

When Dunes & I drove Janet and yourself over to the Senator's ranch (just down our street), they had Galloways. However, from the wine bar, there was no way you could see the cattle out grazing...the angle was all wrong.
Also, the sprawling Wolf's Neck ranch (over in Maine) has them.
Oreo cows: you got it. This is the colloquial term used in the US tagged to this breed
