We decided to stay on US-50 East... always looking for lesser side roads.

Before the Interstate system this was a major highway across the country.

Another farm in ruins... the last generation that worked the farms watched their kids go off to college, or the military... maybe even took a regular job in the factories. They just never came home. We see places like this all over North America.
