To get to the third bolt head you have to carefully remove the rear vent... centerd in the duct... it will be the bolt head you are looking for.
You can see it through the third full opening from the left... look just above the finger/thumb control tab.
Tighten all three so that they feel the same... just enough to be good and snug.

We will later find that... Our TPO roof is fantastic... but, stuff doesn't stick to it as well as our old alumanum roof. A little skim of dirt got washed between the gasket and the roof... it allowed a drip every hour or so... a paper towel had time to dry between drops...
We continue our trip... checking the paper towel.

On Sunday morning when Janet woke up she was surprised to see the Airconditioner filters on the dinette table and a pan on the step. I'd managed to tighten the tie down bolts and blot up the water without waking her.
The rain was torrential, off and on all day. High wind warnings... possible tornadoes rolling in from the west.
Rule #1... when we are in a good spot... sit tight.
Note:
The Milford, Ohio Walmart was unique... there were at least a hundred employees with the same badges... "Assistant manager trainees"
When we we got to the check-out a young man smiled and spoke... we recognized him... continued a conversation that we'd had before. We were raised to look people in the eye, smile and speak to every one... Janet is shy but I do it everywhere. It turns out we had talked with him a few days earlier in a Walmart near Louisville, KY.
I think this must be the University of Walmart... with a class room that we could see into...and almost every employee a student. When we were looking for something 4 or 5 of the students would escort us to the item.
Back in the camper... Janet watched the Broncos play... I read Stuart Woods latest novel cover to cover.
Aw! Wally Docking in a storm! Wonderful.

Sleepy,
Thanks very much for the A/C tips. I had the same problem a few years ago and took it back to the dealer for repair. A few neighboring RV'ers asked to see the big truck camper. It was embarrassing to show it to them with a bucket on the floor catching the A/C drip!

Happy Traveling
Wallace, Thanks for the good thoughts...
Stick around... at some point we'll have to do a permanant repar. It will take a strong back.

I hoped a few people would be reminded to snug up their air conditioners... my 2003 Lance Handbook said to do it after 500 miles... I did it then.
Now amyone the sees the pictures will be reminded...
A couple of turns of the bolts per year would be ideal.
Beats the bucket, and really beats a slow leak that rots away the rafters.
Thank goodness... my camper went from dry carport to wet in one hard rain storm.

Rose,
Janet and I buy and read more than a hundred books most years.
When we are at home we buy books from Amazon.com on the day they are published, often in advance.
When we are traveling we buy a lot of books at Sams (warehouse club). A few years ago we bought a book by Stewart Woods at Sams in San Angelo, TX... we liked it so well that we bought 41 of Stewart Woods books over the next 6 months as we traveled on to San Diago, Ca... Hawaii, Sacremento CA, Vancouver, British Columbia and back to TN. We shopped in used book stores, library book sales, anywhere we could and read them all. Of course we were also reading other authors at the same time.
Now we loan them out by the box full along with all that Woods has written since we came home. They are ready for loan again now.

I started this book at 10 pm last night... and read half of it before going to sleep.... and finished it today.
Why am I sharing this with you?
When we left Glacier National Park in 2007 we stayed in Browning, Mont.... then took back roads through a dinosaur dig area on the way to Bozeman and The Museum of the Rockies featuring the world's largest collection of dinosaur fossils and research. It is just north of Yellowstone NP.
This novel is about the area that we traveled through... I could see it in my minds eye as I read the book... what a wonderful reminder.
I bought the little fossel fish while there.
I think that anyone interested in Montana or Wyoming will enjoy this book... the writer is a dinosaur hunter as well as an aclaimed author.
