Left the TT in Florida, went from 9 mpg to 22. 68mph to 80 mph. Now I can yell at the other folks and their TT, Mh, fivers for going slow and forcing the Truckers into my high speed lane so they can pass the TT etc.......

Have a good trip home folks and hope the pesky virus goes away .

I had two PSD Excursions (7.4 & 6.0) from 2000 to 2007 and I am glad I switched to my 8.1 Chevy 3500 van in March 2008 since diesel is now almost $3 more than reg gas in some places here in NJ.

here is data from a 3300 mile 300 gallon diesel trip in a 2003 chev dually duramax all stock with a 2023 bigfoot 10.4 TC that just did. Nov 2022 Colorado to Ohio.
11 mpg average on trip computer, paper calc was 10.98 mpg. This is doing 5 over on interstates so quite a bit of 80 mph. windy one day for 6 hours. fuel was cheapest in colorado
CO high $4 to $5.40
Nebraska similar
Iowa and Wi $5.25 to $5.60
ILL, IN, Ohio $5.40 to $5.88

all were an avg of $1.75 more than lo grade unleaded.

The big truck stops Flying J and Loves were the highest cost by a lot and i found Phillip stations and BPs that were not large truck stops right next to the big boys that were $0.30 or more cheaper. THis high cost is hurting my retiring plan.

2023 Bigfoot 2500 10.4 TC on 2000 3500 dually duramax
Previous - Bigfoot 10.11 TC, lance TC, King Of Road 5th.

Do you have/use the TSD diesel fuel discount program? Saves a great deal of money and allows you to swipe the card at the pump and drive away when you are done. Great plan and costs you nothing!

Put in for our electric Blazer and the waiting begins. The government is taking a positive step toward the grid and refuel stations, I am ready. California looks toward liquid hydrogen which is even cheaper and safe.

Regular Gas here is under 4.00/gallon (Davison MI)
3.19 I believe (Source observation and I just checked Gas Buddy)

Diesel is still OUCH at 5.09 around the corner from me and 5.19 to 5.29 most every where else.

The other day I finished off my Christmas Shopping Fuel Points (I gave a bunch of gift cards cause mailing packages is EXPENSIVE) (Kroger gives 4x fuel points and well they add up) I paid 1.999

And the price has dropped since.
