Regular is actually "down" {a relative term} to $4.19 here in Payson Arizona. I do believe we should all start seeing some improvement in the near future as the price of crude is beginning to drop.

Paid $5.29 for diesel yesterday in AZ. Of course the pump still cuts me off at $100.
I always quit there and move on. If they don't trust me more than that I am not going to make any extra effort either.

I do wonder if the processor puts a hold on a debit card such that if a person only has $50 in the attached account they may not be able to use pay at the pump.

Because driving to another station to finish topping off is far easier than swiping another credit card in the reader... [emoticon]

If only that could happen down here. They keep the dollar limit the same regardless of how much less fuel you get when prices rise.

$3.69 diesel at most places here in central OH. I locked in 7500 gallons of dyed off road earlier this week for $3.09. That's @ 38% higher than last March. But folks may want to worry more about food prices. I can see $8.00 gallons of milk and $6.00+ loaves of store brand bread to be in your supermarket future. Our dairy cows dont eat sunshine nor are they wind-powered. Don't even get me started on the fertilizer prices up 200% to 400% depending on the flavor and the shortages.

That limit is set by the card issuer / bank in most if not all cases. Apu and Sanjey Nahasapeemapetilon down at the Kwik-E-Mart have no interest whatsoever in cutting you off at 100 bucks.

$100 is still 2 to 3 hours of fuel and then I am ready to stop again. Does not really cut into my day.
Last time I was on the way home and arrived with half tank. Did not need the extra hassle.

I filled up a couple 5gallon cans for my yard equipment today at $6.29 a gallon for midgrade. Ouch!
