Fantastic area for dispersed camping. I do this type of camping in Michigan many times in the summer. The best camping for me!!

Wonderful pictures, fantastic desert camping. It looks like you had quite an adventure.

Is that your Suzuki Sidekick? Great vehicles. I've owned two of them - a two door soft top and a four door wagon - and thoroughly enjoyed both. Nice overland trailer too. Did you build it yourself?

I grew up in Michigan and from a young age we camped this way most of the time. I think that is why I view camping to be this way as a adult.

Eurocamper, Thanks, yes a '92, great little rig, I love getting 22-26 mpg no matter where I go. I'm in the back country trailer biz, this one is a DIY Dinoot model, check them out at www.dinoot.com

Never been to Michigan, but keep seeing great pictures of it, one of these days.
