Very cool shot, but I'd make the moon a bit smaller and maybe not center it so perfect.

I've found that if I put it up in a corner, and make it a tad smaller, it will look very real.

I love how crisp the shot of the moon is though!

Thanks for the helpful critique Pat, I thought the same thing and went to re-shoot the picture but the moon had a bunch of haze around it making to fuzzy. Maybe I can get a better shot when we have the lunar eclipse this Wednesday, 7PM pst.

Even though this next photo is not of us actually camping, I just had to share it with all of you. On the road to tour Mesa Verde NP. As you can see...we never found a picnic area with tables, but when kids are starving...you just have to make do with what you have. So we took out our camping rug to sit on,ice chest/food & put up the awning a bit above us and sat under it for a nice shaded picnic area...right off the road. So I guess you could call this 'boon-dock-picnicking'. LOL[emoticon]
