After reading your post I went and looked at my tongue yesterday. My '06 Superlite has the 3/16" tongue. So maybe I am okay or maybe I should go to a local welder and have them do the prophylactic fix? ![[emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/confused.gif "confused") I am certainly not towing it 3,000 miles to get it welded. I feel very lucky that I have dodged the bullet and really feel for the owners that have had the major issues.

I called weekend warrior on friday and spoke to Mike Blonbell. He told me that if I have a 2006 FS2300 and I do not see any issues, do not bring it in. They would do no re-inforcement and their is such thing as a prophylactic fix. His last words were to enjoy the trailer but keep an eye on my weight. Has anyone had this response?

Measure the thickness of the steel at your tongue. If it is 1/8" thick it will bend over time. It takes time to notice it as well because it is so gradule. If it 1/8" thick I'd call WW back and tell them you want it replaced with the 3/16" thick steel tongue like they are doing on all the others brought in. Tell them you read the conditions of the settlement and you,ve read a lot about is on the site as well.

YEP I called them and told them I had a 2007 WW FS2500 and they said dont worry my trailer is not one of the problem trailers, it was just added to the class action suit incase of problems dont the road.

Afternoon,
I am a new owner of a 2008 FTL 4005, we purchased in January of this year. I have read these post often. I also have learned a great deal from other seasoned RV'ers. Thank you guys. We to have had our share of problems, but I have to say WW has been good so far. Some of ours were due to other vendors, fridge etc. I to have called WW direct and found these guys to be quick to help, provide advice to help during a weekend out.
Talking with others in the camp grounds, it appears every vendors is going to have some type of trouble regardless. Like owning a boat,continual maintenance.
Yes am I disappointed every time I learn some else is wrong very much so. But I am also thinking let's get it all over with in the first year or so. Then it should more enjoyable after that.
Looking at at some many fifth wheels, I think WW had the best look, fit and finish of most toy haulers. Yes some mistakes, but overall design layout, comfort, very good.
Reading these posts it is very comforting to know WW will stand behind their work. Alan has bee excellent at WW.

Any success stories to report yet?
Mine is scheduled to be ready for pickup a week from Thursday (just in time to leave for Spangler the next day). I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has received theirs back fixed already.

I checked my FK 1900 and the tube thickness is 3/16 for my 2005. So it is not a blanket problem for all Superlites, I guess.

The way I read the info is even if your unit wasn't defective, you're still entitled to a settlement due to WW's marketing and the way they misrepresented the weights. Ours was heavier than anticipated but has been a very good trailer.
