My 2007 WW FS2500 Superlite was picked up today at 8:00 am by a F350 Dually and the driver said he would have the trailer at WW on Friday.

Call Max or Jamie on Monday or Tuesday to find out what is being done and when it will be finished.

Well an update to my unique situation with Giant RV blaming me for trading in a trailer with frfame issues. WW has been nothing but helpful and Rafael Jiminez from customer service has assisted lot. Poor guy, though, he is handling all the frame issue problems and he is working his butt off (definitely needs another person covering that). Anyway... got a call from his personal cell today to let me know that WW was picking up the trailer and was going to take care of everything. Very much a relief after the threatening emails from Giant. Now I have to figure out what to do with my next problem. Giant still owes me some stuff (spare tire that i paid for that didn't come with the trailer, new couch since mine came to me with a large burn hole in it and assorted other items) from my new WW that I traded my old one for and they have been holding out on me and won't respond to me anymore. I'm wondering if WW will help me out with that????
Lesson learned from all this - Giant has lost it in my book. I always knew they were weak in customer service but their prices outweighed since I live far away and don't have to worry about service after the sale but this experience has taken the cake. Ridiculous!
I'll update again after repairs are actually made.

Not that I like to promulgate rumours, but I heard from a credible source that WW will be filing chapter 13 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bankruptcy#Chapters) very shortly.

As far as big companies being in better shape in this economy, 2 words - Bear Stearns (I know I know - sub-prime bust killed BS - remember housing also fueled a lot of RV purchase as well!)

I don't know how chapter 13 would affect any warranty claims, but I think Vspec's experience would probably become more common.

I spoke with Mark yesterday about all the rumors regarding a BK filing. He stated to me, Weekend Warrior MFG is NOT going to file. Straight from the CEO himself. I'm sure it won't be an easy road to travel, but I have confidence that Mark and WW will pull out of this in a positive light.

Well of course Mark is going to say that - he's not going to panic his customers by confirming they are going BK. That's just not smart. Now I know from a VP at WW (I won't give the whole title as than people will know who he is), who happens to be a great friend of my bro's, that they are in fact filing BK in a matter of weeks and that Mark is pretty much going to lose everything. They grew too big too fast and didn't take care of their customers or their products. He did say though that parts will be available for repairs, when needed, at your local dealer.

Are you trying discredit what Ive stated? I guess you're sources are more valid than mine. I was just relaying info to the public on what I was told by the Owner of the company. Seeing that it is a private company, only the owner would really know what is going on, and what will be done in the future.

I'm not trying to discredit you at all. I'm just giving out the information that I know also. I'm a big fan of "share what you know", especially regarding WW and their issues. That's all I was donig - sharing information. Isn't that was this is all about? We'll see what happens in the following weeks regarding WW.

Nice - We all have spent hard earned monies to purchase a WW - and now they will be in BK - and we will incure the costs for any MAJOR repairs due to design or workmanship..

Is there a way to tell if you will have this frame failure? I'd rather take some corrective action than wait for the trailer to fail. At what point was the problem corrected in the manufacturing process?

Thanks
