I think it would be interesting also to see the actual GVWR of the truck and 5th wheel and the GCWR when towing. It would tell us about how many stay within the ratings per the manufacturer. NO flames or recriminations needed. If I see them, I delete them. Just give us the true numbers.

Can't give complete information...but what I have from the last CATS weighing:
With 5th wheel attached
Truck GVW from adding front & rear weights: 12,425#'s vs. F350 GVWR of 13,000#
GCVW of 24,450 vs. GCVWR of 26,000 for F350 (w/Tow Boss)...within limits.
Don't recall exactly, but am about 700#'s under FAWR and about 1500#'s under RAWR

TV- 2001 Dodge diesel dually quad cab 3500 with full tank of fuel, hitch, and us: 7775lbs. GVWR is 10,300 I believe. GCWR: 20,000lbs I think for the 3.55 rear end.
TV with 5er: 10,250lbs equals a pin weight of 2475lbs.
5er is 2003 Montana Big Sky 3280RL: Loaded weight with all empty tanks: 9920lbs.
GCVW: 20,170lbs.
The motorcycle trailer adds about 1500lbs total, and takes 230lbs from the pin weight. GCVW: 21,700lbs.
These weights are all from the CAT scale here in Platte City.

TV= 2005 Dodge 3500 Single Rear Wheel Quad Cab Cummins/ Manual 6 speed 4WD
Empty truck, only full of fuel, hitch in bed and driver (me)= 7600 lbs
GVWR 9900 lbs Front GAWR 5200 lbs, empty 4560/ Rear GAWR 5200 lbs, empty 3040
Trailer= 2006 Coachmen 28' Spirit of America 526RLS with second A/C in BR and no extra goodies in the trailer (picked it up after service w/ empty tanks and of course minimum "stuff")
Pin weight 1620 lbs, Axle weights combined 6320 lbs GVWR 8600 lbs/ Total trailer weight fairly empty is 7940 lbs.
TV weights with trailer hooked up are: Front 4560, Rear 4660 for Gross Vehicle Weight of 9220 lbs. That leaves 680 lbs for wife, dogs, firewood, jacks and extra hitch pin weight- not a LOT. Trailer has 660 lbs of capacity left, again- not a LOT. I feel that the trailer is way too close to max GVWR with very little in it, the 2nd A/C didn't add but about 150 lbs total, the design is just too close to the max weight. I am comfortable with the truck weight even if I go over 10,000 lbs, I just wouldn't want to get too close to the combined Axle Weight Ratings of 11,400 lbs. Hope that meets the requirements.
