In July and Aug when the corn is nearly grown, we have a similar problem. I call the "wax ants" They swarm between corn fields over roads and their remains only come off with ammonia, or some such chemical. I guess every part of the country has some less than desirable characteristics.

This is what my buddy calls a double upgrade.....

Purchased a Solaire 292QBSK in March and originally had a 2007 F150 crew cab, paid for and ready for adventures with the family. The 4 speed transmission after a few trips however never gave me great confidence we could make it to Colorado and back even though the truck was in great shape. coupled with the smaller 4.6L triton was the downfall.

Insert new F250 super duty PSD at a great 2013 closeout price and the deal was done.

Now that's a TRUCK! I didn't know they had disk brakes in heavy duty truck applications.

Here is mine... 2013 Ram 2500 with 6.7l Cummins engine. Picking up my 5th wheel after it got a 3in lift.

Even after removing the back spacers on the back axel of the truck, the truck was still a bit too high for the 5th wheel.

Now I have about 7in clearance and the trailer is level.
