So that is our little S17 Palomino. We are really enjoying it. We have made the natural progression from tent to to PU (1980 Coleman and a 1977 Bonaire) to this. Not sure why I fought so hard to stay in the tent trailer...Hybrids are the only way to camp.

That's a nice looking little rig and it seems right a home behind your Toyota van - cool!

Just got back from the first of our summer camping trips to Doheny Beach... Step out of the trailer right into the sand & fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves at night. It was in the high 80's our whole trip & this was our first time out with tinted windows and solor covers on the bunk ends - they worked GREAT! We all had a great time! It's our favorite place - another 3 more trips planned this summer!

It really is. I knew going into it that this would not be a mountain machine which suits us just fine we like campgrounds with nice lakes so we end up going East into Saskatchewan alot...don't get much flatter. Once I got the hitch setup twiqqed (it took several short trips and trying different things) it pulls it like a dream.

Solar bunk end covers? Tell me about that. That sounds like a great idea to keep the heat down. Did you have somebody do the window tint or did you do it? Thanks Autumn
