Great pics Dan ! Is that a state park you stayed in, if so what was the name of the park? Beautiful set-up looks like a nice area to hike as well. Did it offer water and electic at the site? Thanks for sharing, looks like I will add Oregon/Washington to my list of future places I "gotta" visit with the Pup. Sue

Where did you buy the Hammock?
it's a coleman portable hammock and i got it at Costco for $69. it's really beefy and sturdy and comes with a carrying bag.

the first 3 pics are at silver falls state park, east of salem, oregon. absolutely one of the most beautiful parks i've ever been to. there are 9 waterfalls and the park is the largest in oregon. it seems to be a oregon secret. everyone in oregon knows all about it. but i had never heard of it before.
they have quite a few sites with hookups but there are some great ones. we were told by the campground host that the one we got was the best and most popular one there.
they also have a horse camp, yurts and cabins for rent.

Here is our picture of the Honda Odyssey with the 16 ft Aerolite Cub. We love this thing. We have been traveling all aroud the west for the past two+ weeks now. The van and Cub set a record altitude at 9,033 ft above sea level at Big Horn mountain. Our house is 43 ft above sea level.
