On a whim I took my daughter to the local RV place to look around and she saw the E3's and said 'I want a yerrow campa Daddy.'
Well my wheels started spinning and knowing I wasnt going to spend $18,000 on a camper I made her an E3 Jr. instead. I found an 89 Columbia and got to work thanks to the forums. It was a complete resto inside and out. Wouldnt you know it my daughters favorite thing is hiding in the lower galley cabinet. All I could do was shake my head and laugh. The zippers are a big hit as well. Kudos to Bear Creek Canvas for all the help as well. I have about $2000 all in so far. See my webshots for more pics.

Here's my new-to-me PUP. She had a broken refrigerator, but I found a used one that works in the same model, and it's being replaced right now. Her inaugural camping trip will be Oct 3-5. I can't wait!!![grin [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/grin.gif)

Us this weekend in the Milton/Gulf Oaks KOA. Not a bad place, I didnt like being so close to the interstate, but since we didnt set up the shower and toilet, it put us about a 30second walk from theirs. Half of our offroad crew camped on the beach; while we were here with power, water, cable and WiFi (that Im using now). They were a little jealous.

I set up my camper to check it out and check my improvements (the tarps). I remembered some one asking about a grey water connection. If you are interested go to the link below and view my pictures.

Here is where my camping began. It is a 1954 New Moon fold down marketed by Sears. This picture was taken either in 1954 or 55 on the north rim of the Grand Canyon with my father standing in front of it (I was 7 years old). It had folding aluminum ends canvas sides and a canvas tent on the end. There was an aisle down the middle with two stacked bunks (canvas stretched on pipes) on each side. Not real fancy but I am thinking one of the first pop ups.
