Doing a few weeks of boondocking about 20 miles southwest of Meteetsee,Wyoming at about 7000 feet. Cool nights, and mostly nice days. Our coldest morning (that we saw) was 2 F as seen in our “very” poor photo. Having to run our little Honda a bit, as heater use, too much tv, long nites and short days... the solar panels can’t keep-up!

Don’t “panic” about the indoor temp...we keep it cool to save on batteries and propane, and so we can be better acclimated to the outside temperatures. Our “only” issue is keeping the 55 gallon drum of fresh water “thawed” so we can pump it into the fresh tank. We wrapped it in black, hoping for a little “solar” heating to keep it in “liquid form”! We camp in the late fall, early winter, but not in the extreme you do. With that said, we too keep the indoors cool to save on propane and battery power. We have a Big Buddy propane heater which will overheat us, but we also keep the furnace turned to 40 to keep the basement above freezing to protect the water lines.

Beautiful spot Gon2ski - where is it? Reminds me of Lola Creek, but probably isn't. Could be anywhere in the Central Mountains.

This one was not too shabby. Cheyenne Mtn SP, above Colorado Springs. Tough site to get. This was third choice available 12 hours into booking window.
