Just returned from a 9 day trip to the Texas coast. we stayed at Jamaica Beach RV Resort in Jamaica Beach Texas, site 27

Bounce house, water slides, 2 pools, outdoor movies every night

was a perfect week until Tropical Storm Bill

after 2 days of wind and rain we were happy to head north to our second stop

From the coast we headed to Fort Parker State Park out side of Mexia Texas, site 7

Nice wooded sites lots of activities, hiking, boating, swimming, etc. we had planed to stay 2 nights but while hiking the lake went from this

and the rangers gave away the high and dry sites to new comers while cutting the power to the areas we and several others were in. so we decided to call it a trip and head home. over all a good trip even with the downs. but as they say a bad day camping is better than a good day at work.
