You used to be able to boondocks there. Are you saying we can't do this anymore or you just didn't? This is on my bucket list. We've been there but not camping.
We choose not to stay as we were just looking for a spot to stop and have lunch. There was a sign that said no overnight parking, so I assume no boondocking. Lots of open space around there though for boondocking.

Took our new buddy Hank on his first camping trip to Sycamore Ranch,Browns Valley CA, found a really nice pull thru, weather was great and our fur buddy did great!

Wenburg County Park, it's close to home, but my wife had to work saturday so we went up friday night and she drove down to work on saturday, then drove back after work. Dinner was waiting for her, dutch oven spare ribs
