Early December at Wild River State Park, on the St Croix River in Minnesota.

Edit: I was the *only* camper in the campground both nights.

Michael in MN, it sure is fun to camp in the winter. Last time out we had sleet and snow, just barely coverd the grass, but so much fun.
Life is trip,ENJOY the ride.

Call me crazy but I would rather be there than the Florida pics above. I love cold weather camping. Big fire, nobody else around. Beautiful pics

This is awesome, have spent a number of nights as the only active camper.

Is that the same grill you have been using all these years? If so, I got to get me one [emoticon]

Deep Creek on the Kenai, AK. It does not get much more basic than this. No power, no water, no dump, no trees, rough gravel area, not much site spacing. We are not there for the CG facilities.
