Clinton Lake - Lawrence KS.. someone said that the winter months is the time for camping.. they were right!! So quiet, mostly without all the boats, campground did a few campers but it was too cold for alot of outdoors.

Glad you posted that 2nd shot of Big Creek, 'cause the "Out the Door " Shot looked like you were going to slide into the creek. [emoticon]

Nice CG. Dry cmping of course, but what do you expect for $12? For anyone headed to Alaska it is only maybe a half hour N of the Cassiar/Alaska highway junction. Bring the deet. The critters can be ferocious but it is one of those CGs that really make going north worthwhile.

Gulf State Park, Alabama. Mid Sept.,2014. This is one of our favorite places
and it is very quite this time of year, but we know it does get much busier
at other times of the year. Our site was 335, nice to have some shade trees.
