Berry Bend COE on Truman Lake.. not to bad of a place. About normal for a COE campground. The lake is so shallow around the beach really safe for the kids.

Pomme de Terre Lake.. Wheatland campground. Perhaps the best we've been to. Motorhome only spot is the only reason I can figure we got it on a short notice.

Castle Rocks SP, Idaho - site #15, elec-water hookups (close to neighboring sites but feels at least semi-private)

Hey Karen,
Is this the new Smokey Mountain south of Castle Rock SP or is this one of the campgrounds from within? We went to Smokey Mountain about 4 years ago in September and we were the only ones there. It was beautiful weather.

This was Smokey Mountain - the state park CG. The ones inside "the City" are all dry camping and nearly all suited for just tents. (I did post a couple of pictures of tent sites in the tenting forum here on rv.net too.) Weather was HOT. Had a strong thunderstorm on Thursday afternoon - I felt sorry for all the tenters, as their stuff got completely soaked.
