We used to go there fairly often. Haven't been in about 3 years, though. BTW, I am working in Lawrenceville, IL, today and may make it over to Vincennes. I like the Rural King you all have [emoticon]

Gun Creek, COE campground at Rend Lake in southern IL. Site 49. Electric only. Campfire ring too close to neighbor, in our opinion. Level pad with good length. Pad in the sun, but shade on site.

This photo was taken last fall. Kinda late I know, just learned how to post photos. that is my sister sitting under the awning, A little drizzle, most of the day. But we were still out having fun. Because of the DW's health issues, can only take day trips at this time.Taken at St. Francois State Park, Bonne Tere, MO. Great park.

LOL wbwood, its in one of the day use paring areas along side of the rode.We were the only ones there that day. We have been there when it truly looks like a parking lot.
