McKinney COE on Lake Allatoona north of Atlanta. This is site 45. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already booked a site for later in the year.

Happy Tails to all.

Great View, that will be a busy spot after posting those pictures..

^ Very nice. Love the trees. Wife always wants to park under them. Much cooler.

Ahhhhh Bakerkids, you have found our little campground Trackrock. We have tried to get #70 for years and have had no luck. It's one of the most popular sites because it looks out over the lake. Did you enjoy your stay there?

I went to recretion.gov to look up info about this park and found there are several campgrounds. Which CG is this site in?

I was there with the Sisters on the Fly last November for our "Christmas in the Mountains." I actually preferred a site in the hills with my group, but was moved down by the water for some reason. It was nice, though, because I did get sun for the chilly days. Loved driving beside the Ocoee [emoticon] Beautiful area.

McKinney.

Would loved to have stayed more than one night. We were heading to Hunting Island State Park, and stopped here for the night at the recommendation of a friend. I could have stayed a week! [emoticon] Although check-in could have been more pleasant, esp. after a full day on the road. Kind of reminded me of "Meet the Parents" where Ben Stiller is wanting to board the plane while waiting his turn in at an empty airport gate.
