That's awesome! I'll have to add that to my list for our trip next year up the coast.


The park isn't much, but it does have full hook-ups. Sleeping to the sound of the surf just a few yards away is well worth the lack of campground esthetics! Enjoy.

With that view and being that close to the water, the ONLY requirement I would have is full hook ups. lol

Thanks. Looking forward to it. We've camped right on the beach in Pismo Beach, but the DW really prefers the FHU.

The sound of the waves crashing gently is really relaxing at night. I've fallen asleep by the campfire many times.

Twin Knobs campground at Cave Run lake near Morehead, Ky.

It's a big campground that has loops A to J... This is our favorite campground because a lot of the sites has A LOT of privacy!.. Cave Run also has another large campground called Zilpo.

The bad thing about Cave Run campgrounds is you can't camp near the water... But on some of the sites you can see the lake.

On this site we was camping on loop A site #33... On this loop, The lake has 2 coves where you can leave your boat.

We had just arrived at Deer Run RV in Crossville, TN for DD's first birthday weekend. This is site 300 right next to their lake.
