Here are a few pics from our trip to Spider Creek Resort, about 9 miles west of Eureka Springs, Arkansas on the White River. This is the only RV pad they have (the rest are cabins). Very nice views and a good site with table, BBQ grill, fireplace, and your own private bath house.

How about these? Federal dam COE in MN. April 2008. We were the only people there for the weekend. Got caught in the snowstorm. They turned on the power for us, closed the gate, told us "See you Monday but if you get out before we come back please close the gate behind you."

Veebyes - reminds me of waking up one morning at Gros Ventre in October but half the snow you have here. We didn't have the benefit of electric hookup but we did have our generator. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

He just turned 4 years old and has been camping since 3 months old. I just wonder how much he will recall later. We will remember it anyway [emoticon]
