Ocean Lakes Christmas eve 2010 Site 2119
It was a bit chilly so I installed my homemade $16.00 Add a room. It worked great for blocking the wind and being able to cook outside.

I thought the idea was to give folks an idea what a particular "campsite" was like at various campgrounds. So pictures from different angles and all directions gives folks the best idea of what the actual site is like.
A closeup of the camper that doesn't show how the campsite is in relation to the road and other sites is not helpful.
It is most definitely necessary to list the campground name, state, city, and SITE #. Also listing what the site has, (water, electric, sewer, etc.) and proximity to facilities helps a bunch.
Would it hurt to also state how much a person paid for the campsite?
I do agree with the above, and I think 2 pictures of a site will give everyone an idea of what it looks like.
Chickadee just posted 2 pictures of a site and that's exactly what the topic is about.
Here's a thought: Do you guys think adding a personal rating (let's say from 1 to 5) of the campground in general is a good idea?
Dre Maybe, but not always useful, as even on rvpark reviews, some people rate a place very low because it didn't have free WIFI available, or they couldn't get TV reception without a satellite, when in fact, neither of those are why "Most" people go camping/RVing

John Prince Park Campground Lot 101, Lake Worth, FL. (Palm Beach County Parks) - $194/week, no dog breed or weight restrictions. Max stay 155 days without special permission. Next to the palm beach air park, so the happy sound of light aircraft and the occasional helicopter from the east, the sound of recreating boaters (skiing and fishermen mostly) on the lake from the west, when those don't drown it out you can hear the rumble of the freeway less than a mile to the east. This is a fairly urban location in the south florida metro, light pollution is significant. The park is spottily lit, some areas are squinty bright at night, others are nicely dark.
This is an awesome park. Even though it is huge (300 lots) the lots are set at creative angles to each other and with enough space to allow more outdoor space around the campsites than many parks, as you'll see in my pictures below! There is a large open field in the middle of the park, plenty of restrooms and showers well maintained and safe with its remote location (you have to drive half a mile through the park to get here), park rangers on patrol, the entry is even gated with key codes for extra criminal hassle.

We just returned from a week at Santee Lakes just outside of San Diego. We stayed in site 233, which is in the West Oak Loop on the North end of the campground. The majority of campers in this area were long term snowbirds. It was very quiet...and I mean VERY quiet. The facilities were clean and well maintained. I didn't get around to taking pictures of the lakes and lakefront sites thanks to the flu or food poisoning that slowed me down on our last two days of the trip...which were designated to relaxing around the park. I do have a few pics of our end of the park...
Our setup in site 233. Lots of room. That's our Rockwood 2501 which is roughly 28' total length. We could have parked 4 full size trucks on our site and still had plenty of room for fun.

East view from our site. There are a few houses on the hill that look into the park. Plenty of room between sites.

Northwest view from our site. Small grassy area with a nice gazebo and picnic table. You can see the power lines in the background that kind of take away from the North and West views.

All in all a nice park and we will stay there again. The lakes are more like ponds, but it is a nice quiet park with plenty for our kids to do. We used it mainly as a home base for all of the SD tourist attractions, but I believe we will make more time to hang around the park next year.
