Only a few months into the RV life so far, but completely hooked. Was a backpacker and camper all through my youth, and now hope to use my RV for a base camp to keep on trucking! Purchased new 2017 Grey Wolf in June, been out about 5 times and decided this was the life for us!

Traded it a three weeks ago for a 2018 Rockwood 5'er and this next week is it's maiden voyage. Will be posting a pic of the new rig when we have it set up in camp, and I figure out how to post pics. For now, here is the Grey Wolf set up at Clinton State Park, Lawrence KS

Every person we have met in our short experience has been friendly and helpful in every way, seems to be the way of the lifestyle!

(Thanks for the re-size Mod, I will figure it out eventually!)

"The secret to life is enjoying the passage of time" - James Taylor
Sweet Baby James said it all in this line. It's not money, it's not things, it is savoring every moment God has given you on this earth, and all those you hold dear as family and friends.

Congratulations on your new rig and enjoying the life! It's the only way we vacation and anything else falls short. We like it so much, that we just purchased a small popup to pull behind our Jeep to places we can't fit our fifth wheel. Gives us many more options!

Did first test tow with our 2018 RAM to verify hitch height, 5th Wheel level and correct operation of the Disc Brakes, all went well.

New Goodyear G614 tires and disc brake conversion....provides a much more secure feeling going down the road. It use to feel like the truck was stopping the trailer. Now if feels like the trailer is stopping the truck.

It's all about the journey...not the destination!

Full time in our 2017 Grand Design Momentum 376TH pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Dually, Longbed.....

And now we're living the life.....full time in our new home. Left San Diego, spent a week in Colorado Springs area, then another week in the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore area of South Dakota....down to Norman, Ok to get the disc brakes. We've been here in the Ozark mountains and Little Rock area of Ark. for several weeks. Headed to Texas next week, for the winter. Here is a pic taken this week....

It's sad it needs to be a "MOD" on these larger RV's especially.

Couldn't agree more ! ! Glad to see that at least SOME are offering as an option.. Let YOU choose to skimp or not..

I personally would choose to skimp on glitz, and get the IS and discs..

I went to the disc side with my other fiver, and the difference between drums, and discs on a large fiver is huge !
