Yes it was a bit thin. Think it was around three inches compared to our old one that was six. Got to parents house where it is stored for now and backed in the driveway like normal and hit one of the tonnue rails.

But the dealership called this morning and said our new hitch was in so went there and had it installed and raised it one notch to gain some height

We sold our old FW and bought a 2016 Wildcat by Forest River. It is shorter than our older one which was a must for me. I had came to the point that I was uncomfortable pulling such a long trailer. This Wildcat is 29' with the opposing slides. It is shorter than our other, but seems like it has more room because of the opposing slides.

Sorry about the photos, but it is the best we could get at the time this week. We are more fall, winter, and spring campers.

Replaced our Class A (sold 5/16) with a 2007 Keystone Cougar 289BHS 5th wheel (8/16), definitely a different experience but we enjoy it.

We had a nice little spontaneous get-away last night to beat the end of the summer heat. Our plan worked. It was in the low 40s when I left camp this morning to drive back down to work.

Constantly changing, but here is a photo of the rig after I added a hitch and moved the portable holding tank from basement storage to under the trailer yesterday:
