Work2much,
Enjoy your new lifestyle! My advice would be to make sure you have a backup plan in place for when the time comes that you cannot continue the lifestyle. That time most likely will come eventually - sadly.

No doubt. We are still pretty active and in good health in our mid 50's. The proceeds of our house sale will be set aside for whatever comes along and we are planning on buying or building another sticks and bricks at some point when we get older.
Thanks.

That is good to hear. I know several friends who live full time in their RV and are only slightly younger than my wife and I (mid 80's) who have no back up plan nor any special funds set aside for one.
Although they spend most of their time in fairly inexpensive military campgrounds they still have to move now and then since the military does not allow one to spend a whole year in one place. Six months is the most that I am aware of. I really worry about what they are going to do when the time comes that they cannot physically accomplish all the tasks necessary to live in their RV.

Thanks folks.
Always bugs to work out with new rigs though. Fridge had been on gas for 20 hours since last evening and never cooled down. After the 20 hours the burner shut off. Back to the dealer Monday. Ruined a planned week long fall getaway.
After 8 RVs, this is my first Norcold fridge. Not a good first impression.

Me and my wife are new to owning a camper, particularly a 5th wheel. This is my setup, 2012 Ram 2500 Power wagon, and the trailer we bought is a 1996 Gulfstream innsbruck. She's nothing fancy but for the price and how clean it is, we couldn't pass it up. Excited for our adventures in it with our boys.
