Good morning everyone. Thanks tp all my friends who have wished me a happy birthday. It was a wonderful day. So happy to be alive and well. I went to Cabala's yesterday and bought some fishing stuff to go with the things I got for my birthday. Then I went to the pond and caught some fish. They were too small to keep so I put them back into the pond, Anyway it was fun and I will go back again soon and see if there aren't some bigger fish to catch. I hope all is well with everyone. Sue mentioned going to Augusta today to get some Sconyers Bar B Que. That's a full days drive, don't think I am up to it. Maybe when I am younger and feel more energetic. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. Good morning to everyone. Yesterday I went fishing in the pond behind the house. Never thought there were any good size fish in it, now I know. I caught six bream. Three were small three were good size. I kept all three and cleaned them last night. I managed to cut one of my fingers pretty good. But it will heal in due time. One of the cats is missing. Little Bit the grey and white kitty. She is so loving and sweet. The neighbor called asking about her this morning saying he hadn't seen her either. I hate that because she is such a sweet kitty. So we have Fluff and Midnight and Penny, Penny goes off and stays for long periods at a time and then shows back up, so if we don't see her in a while we don't worry because she usually shows up after a while. We will keep the light on for them and hope they show up some time soon. I hope all is well with everyone. WE are well and seem to be avoiding the virus. WE are staying home and not venturing out too much. Sue just left for the grocery store. I slept late this morning and haven't eaten breakfast so I guess I had better get started in getting ready to face the day. So I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

We are finally starting to get a few nice days in a row. The forecast called for rain all week but so far we have not had much except for Sunday. We may see 70 Degrees on Saturday with lots of sunshine. Ohio will start to open back up slowly. Restaurants and Bars are going to remain closed for a while. Manufacturing can go back starting Monday. At first Governor mandated face covering if you go out. I guess he took a lot heat for it and now it is just recommended. We wear ones we we go out. The rain is coming your way! We got a little over 1/2 inch yesterday and a little under an inch so far this morning. April showers as they say. Your governor has teamed up with ours, and several other midwest states to try to coordinate relaxing things. We had kind of leveled off in our state, but there is a county with a meat processing plant that has had an explosion of cases in the last week. I still think we need testing and contact tracing to really get a handle on this, but with certain precautions some businesses should be able to operate safely for their workers and customers. I think we're going to open slowly as well. They postponed the Indy 500 until August, we'll see if they can actually let 100,000+ people close together in that situation or if they do it without a crowd. We're also wearing masks when we're going to be in places were we could potentially meet people. Good Morning FOOFs Our dogs have been really happy that I have mostly been working from home but I am about to go stir crazy! Donna and I took a drive out east in the country on Saturday. The local paper had an article about Manatee county's only operational dairy farm. It's a 1000 acre farm located in Myakka City. This farm sells over 80% of it's milk and other products to restaurants and the schools. Since school and restaurants are closed, they have been dumping milk in the pastures just to get rid of it (the cows still have to me milked). They have a store on the property that sells milk, cream, cheese and other dairy products to the public. We took a drive out there to support them. They had milk for $2.50 a gallon so we bought several gallons to give to our neighbors. When we left the store, there was a long line outside (they would only allow a certain amount of people in the store at one time). Hopefully they can stay afloat until things return to normal. We drove Donna's new Jeep out to the dairy and put about 80 miles on it. We are really liking the new Jeep. We made reservations at an RV park up in Tarpon Springs, FL for next weekend (8th ant 9th). This park has 7 RV spots right on the water. I figure I can continue my social distancing while outside watching the boats come by. We don't plan on leaving the RV park and will just enjoy being outside by the water. It will be good for us and the motorhome since this is the longest the motorhome has sat and not been used since we bought it almost 3 years ago. Florida will start opening restaurants starting next Monday. Seating outside is allowed and seating inside will be limited on only 25% occupancy. Hopefully things will slowly start getting back to normal. Burch 2018 Miramar 35.3 Motorhome 3 fur kids (Monty, ZuZu and Pinto) Rainbow bridge (Murphy, Petie, Lola) |

Good evening everyone. It has been a beautiful day here in the Deep South. Sue and I are fine and we seem to be doing well with our health. Buddy is staying with us, If you remember Buddy is the dog that came to our house while we were in Sevierville, Tenn. He waited on us to come home peeping into all the windows looking to see if anyone was home. When we finally got home he ran to meet us as if he was saying where in the world have you been, I have been waiting for you a whole week. Buddy went to our grandson and his new wife's home. That was three years ago and he is so happy. He has settled in here as if he has always lived here, He is such a good dog. He is big but so gentle. Anyway he is here and loving it. Hope all is well with everyone. WE saw where all the South Carolina parks are open. WE still can't go anywhere. WE need to stay put for a while and watch the pennies and dollars. Okay I need to get going. It's bed time and the dogs haven't been out yet. SO I will say goo night and have a blessed night and a great day tomorrow. |

Our weather has been up and down. We had a gorgeous weekend lots of sun and temperatures around 70 degrees. Weather turned cooler yesterday and even cooler today. Weatherman says it will be cool all week and a possibility of winter mix Friday. ![]() Hope everyone stays safe and healthy as more and more restrictions are lifted. |

Good Morning FOOFs Donna and I are finally going to get out of the house for a few days. We are going to "socially distance" ourselves in Tarpon Spring with a nice RV site right on the water. The next two days are supposed to be beautiful and I expect to do a lot of nothing. I have been working from home for over 6 weeks now and I am ready to be away from the house for awhile. I brought the motorhome to the house this weekend to install a Magna Shade. We purchased it at the Tampa RV show back in January. I finally got around to installing it. It was expensive, but I think we are really going to enjoy it. It was only in the low 80s this weekend but it made a huge difference in the temperature in the front of the motorhome. The motorhome was much cooler in the front and the AC units weren't working very hard. I am curious to see how it does once the summer temps hit the mid 90s. It was pretty easy to install and we plan on using it during our trip. ![]() * This post was edited 05/07/20 07:54am by MetalGator * |

Good morning=g everyone. Where in the world is spring? One day we have temperatures in the 80's and then we go down into the 60's during the day. At night we are in the lower 40's. Today will have a high of 65. yesterday we were in the lower 80's. Last night we were in the lower 40's. Crazy weather patterns. WE have had rain but could use more. We had our grandson's dog buddy over for a stay but found out he had food aggression and tore into Suzie and Dixie, Sent him back home yesterday with a no return ticket. Now I am afraid for the new baby crawling around on the floor. Told Joshua the dog needs to find a new home. Can't take a chance that Buddy would attack the baby crawling around on the floor if he got close to the food bowl. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. * This post was edited 05/12/20 05:54am by Dixie Flyer * |
