Richard - glad it got diagnosed. I've been on Prednisone now for about 5 years. Sarcoidosis in the lungs. Could hardly breathe before the Prednisone, now I'm doing fine. [emoticon]

I hope that what you have will go away with treatment. Mine doesn't unfortunately and I just have to live with it.

Chin up!

We got home right at 6:30pm tonight from North Carolina. We left at 7:30am so it took right at 11 hours. We stopped twice for gas and twice more at rest areas to walk the fur kids. The GPS said it was 641 miles. That is the most miles I have driven in one day in the motorhome at one time. Wasn't too bad but wouldn't want to do that all the time.

Had a big day yesterday and will tell details tomorrow. I am tired and want to take a shower and watch a little college football before I go to bed.

It was a great trip!

Wow, that's a long time to be in the hospital! We hope you're doing better now, and don't be a stranger to this topic. [emoticon]

Today I get to "temporarily" winterize the Montana. I use about 2.5 gallons of the pink stuff, as the washer machine takes a gallon all by itself. When we get down to Hattiesburg on 12/29, I will de-winterize it. From there, on to Gulf Shores![emoticon]

I spent yesterday cleaning the motorhome. With all the driving in the rain, I had road sludge all over the back and sides. I forget how much surface area is on a 37' motorhome! It's all nice and clean now. I also got the inside clean, mopped the floors, etc. I am going to put it back in my storage garage this morning. I need to fuel it up first so it will be ready for the next trip. We don't have another trip planned until Thanksgiving.

On our last day in North Carolina, we went into Cherokee again to get some moccasins for my father in law. We went to the casino to eat lunch afterwards and planned to go see my friend, who lives in Franklin, later that evening for dinner. We get to the casino and Donna wanted to play some slots for a few minutes before we had lunch. She gave Rachael a $3.50 ticket to stick in a machine. On the 3rd spin, the machine went into a bonus. She kept getting more bonus spins and after 165 bonus spins, she won $588 on a $3.50 ticket and a .50 cent bet. Needless to say, she was very happy.

We tried to go into Franklin on Friday evening to see my friend but we got stuck in traffic. We were 5 miles from his turn and after 30 minutes we hadn't moved. I guess there was a truck that stalled out going up the mountain and it was only one lane due to road construction. We ended up turning around and headed back to the campground. It ended up raining all night Friday. I guess our leak is fixed as it rained several times during this trip and no water inside.

We got up early Saturday morning and left around 7:30am and got home right at 6:30pm. The GPS said it was 641 miles. It was a long trip home but the motorhome is very comfortable to travel in.

My friend from Franklin (who is also my next door neighbor here in Florida) ended up passing us south of Macon Georgia on his way back to Florida. They only stay in Franklin during the summer and then live next to me in Florida until around April.

We had a very good trip and it was so nice to meet several of you. I got Murphy yesterday from mom's so the family is back together again. The only bad thing is we both have to go back to work tomorrow.[emoticon]

I did our motorhome Friday when we got home [emoticon] We took our washer out last year so mine took about a gallon.

We're doing Thanksgiving in the woods of NW Illinois with our son and friends, so we'll de-winterize and re-winterize then until we head south.

It was kind of a shock arriving home. It seems that fall is almost over with high temps in the 50s and close to freezing at night. Leaves are being shed and skies are overcast...

I was a shock today in Florida. It was 90 degrees here with very high humidity. It feels like the middle of the summer.
