Good afternoon everyone. Sue and I along with Marsden went to church this morning then went for lunch. It's not been the best of days for me with a lot of pain in my right arm and leg. I have been taking it easy today, resting watching football. Last evening we had a get together at Doug's and Sandy's. They prepared pulled pork, sure was good. The rest of us brought different items that made a lot to eat. We enjoyed Burch, Donna and Rachael as they came and introduced themselves. Today has been very cloudy and misty with mild temperatures. Tomorrow we go home and face whatever is before us. Sure miss some folks that couldn't make the trip, for whatever reason. Okay I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug fro me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. While walking Monty this morning, I ran into Sue walking Daisy and Suzie. It was nice to finally meet the fur gang. For those of you leaving today, I hope you have safe travels. We will not be leaving until tomorrow and will be heading to Whittier, NC for 4 nights. 2018 Miramar 35.3 Motorhome 3 fur kids (Monty, ZuZu and Pinto) Rainbow bridge (Murphy, Petie, Lola) |

I'm going to take a break from unloading the camper for a minute. WE left Riverside at 9:30 and arrived home at 2. The traffic was easy and the roads clear, even the interchange at Ashville was clear. Sue and I enjoy every minute of our stay at Riverside. What a great bunch of folks. Most likely this was our last time to see those who attended as we have plans to sell the camper and truck soon. We will try to make a trip to Ohio to visit Dan and Lori in November. Burch it was nice to finally met you and Donna, glad you could make the trip. Okay I need to get back to work before I get the stares from Sue as to what an I doing? See you later. |

I was great finally meeting many of you. We are still here at Riverside. We went to Gatlinburg today and had a good time. Traffic was not bad today. We are heading to Whittier, NC near Cherokee tomorrow morning sometime. It's supposed to rain tonight. I took a few pictures with the drone this afternoon. I had the brightness of the camera turned up too much so the picture of us near the river was a little whitewashed. ![]() ![]() |

I'm a little tardy is posting our arrival here in Frankfort, KY. We made it across the mountains on I75 with some intermittent heavy fog and mist. The weather cleared by the time we got to Berrea and it was bright and sunny with a south wind (tailwinds are alway nice). We headed west at Lexington and saw the front approaching and the wind had shifted a little to the SW so it was a little tight knuckled with the gusts. As we arrived at the campground, we noticed a low tire on the Honda and found a nail. Very fortunate that it happened here and not on the road or on one of the back roads around Sevierville. Anyway, two tires were showing a little wear so we got new tires. The rain started just as they finished the car, so we're tucked in for a cozy night. We had a great time with you all. We'll have to keep in touch here and touch base during our travels.
