Good to hear Pickles is doing better and you're right it doesn't take them long to figure out they can control you. Hope she continues to get better. Will she still need to have an operation?

Dan so sorry you and Patty will miss Sevierville. We will miss you very much and hope Pickles gets better soon. Perhaps she will progress to the point she won't need the surgery, That would be a blessing. Sue and I will be leaving in the morning and hope to be at Riverside by 3pm.

I am hurting so bad in my muscles so I am cutting out all prescription meds to see if that helps. Last night I took two Tylenol before bed and then about 3am I took one tramadol. That put me to sleep. I am swapping one aliment for another. The Tylenol is causing me to have bowel cramps so I had to take a laxative to get things moving again. Boy if it isn't one thing its another.

Sue and Marsden are planning a train trip on Friday so I will be resting and taking it easy. I hope the weather is nice all week and the leaves are turning to Fall colors.

Okay I will close for now wishing you a blessed day. Give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Good morning FOOFs

Richard, I hope you have a safe trip today to Sevierville. I learned last Friday that I might not be able to leave early on the 18th to head north. I had planned to leave around lunch time to drive to Tifton, Ga for the night. I might have to work much later into the day than I'd like. I am showing it's about a 4 1/2 hour drive (without traffic) but going through Tampa around 5pm is painful. The traffic is really bad on I75 until you get 10+ miles north of Tampa. Good Lord willing and the creak don't rise, we will be leaving on Friday afternoon. I plan on getting up early Saturday and heading the rest of the way to Riverside. I am debating on whether to drive through Atlanta or go around. It's been 10 years since I drove to Atlanta and I went around last time. I thought the traffic was just as bad going around. We will probably be hitting downtown Atlanta around 9:30-10AM on Saturday so hopefully the traffic won't be as bad.

Looking forward to seeing many of you on Saturday.

Hope everyone made it to Sevierville safely.

We had our first frost last night. There is still some ice on the roofs here at 8:00 am.

There isn't much change in Pickles. I have talked to 3 different Vetenarian clinics that are close by us. Non of them are willing to do the surgery on Pickles. The last Doctor I talked to is a specialist. He said if Pickles was a lab he would not hesitate, but because she is a small Pomeranian if it was his dog he would stick with Metropolitan Clinic that did the diagnosis. He said the 2 Doctors there are the best specialist and they handle all the hard cases. He also explained to me that if surgery is not done it could effect the Achilles' tendon if it has not already. He also said it after it is repaired it may happen again. He told me that he repaired 3 in labadores and 1 reinjured it in a years time.

She is eating good now and drinking water. But you have to take it to her. I can tell it still hurts her as she tries to move around. So she really does not unless she gets excited so we try and keep her as calm as can be. She still is not doing her business as she should but is urinatining once a day. She did poop yesterday this was the first time since Thursday.

I'm glad to hear she is eating now. Just wish we could take the pain away. Our Jack Russel Murphy has had stomach problems for several days but she is better. Her stool was still soft yesterday but at least it was solid. She has been a picky eater. She will about take your hand off for a treat but hasn't been wanting to eat her food. I have been fooling her the last few days. I take some of her dry food and put it in a small bowl and then add a little water. She thinks it's something different and she eats it.

I hope everyone made it to Sevierville. Hopefully someone will check in soon from Riverside. We still plan on leaving after work on Friday and being at Riverside on Saturday afternoon. At lease we will make it to the tail end of the event and get to meet some people.

Greetings from Sevierville, Tennessee. The weather here is nice today. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain so we will get umbrellas out and just enjoy the day.

Dan I hope you can find a cure for Pickles soon and get that monkey off your back. We are fine here, just finished lunch at the diner down the road and then made a fast trip to Wal-Mart. We are in for the day, so we will just sit back, relax and enjoy ourselves.

Burch, when are you supposed to arrive?

Okay I wish you a blessed day, be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
