Wow, did not know they were closing. There aren't many RV parks on the water and we have enjoyed going there for years. That's really disappointing.

Good morning everyone. Sue and I stayed at that KOA a few years back and enjoyed it very much. Sue is out with Dixie and Suzie for their morning walk. It is a beautiful morning and the forecast is for a beautiful day. For some reason we are seeing more stray dogs in our area than we have seen before. Our local group that posts to the Moonville Posts list a lot of strays roaming looking for food. Yesterday we had to wait for a large black dog to get out of the road as we came home. Don't know where he went to, was looking for him to show up at our house, you know, The Lost Dog Bead and Breakfast. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. We stayed there for about 5 weeks this last winter. It's a beautiful campground, well run and pretty central to everything around Orlando. I can understand the decision as the area is really growing with lots of building going on. The land is very valuable and I guess the tipping point was reached. Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful morning here in the Deep South. Last night we were visited by a Coyote roaming through the back yard. I was able to put the spotlight on him before he disappeared. This is becoming more frequent as of late. Our neighbor's dog Lily was outside barking so I went next door and made sure they brought her inside. She would be no match for a Coyote. They have chickens in a pen and I am sure the Coyote is looking for an opportunity to get one. Okay I hope you have a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Our area has issues with coyotes as well. I've only seen one near our house but my mom who lives about 10 miles away has seen several in her neighborhood. I am a little worried about Murphy. A few weeks before she had her abscessed tooth removed, she had been coughing during the night. She sleeps in a doggie bed in the corner of our bedroom at night. She had been licking and biting herself due to her skin condition so I though maybe she was getting a hair ball like cats sometimes do. When I took her to the vet for her tooth removal, he said it could have been caused by the infection in her mouth. Now she is totally healed and seems to feel fine but the couching is getting worse. She doesn't cough constantly but throughout the day she will cough. Her yearly vet appointment for her shots and checkup isn't until next month but I am thinking I might need to take her to the vet to get checked out. Even though she is old, she is still extremely active and seems to feel fine. Burch |

Good morning everyone. Been having trouble signing on for the last few days. This morning it's raining and cool at 66 degrees. I think it is going to be raining off and on all day with strong thunderstorms tomorrow and Sunday. Okay men have you gotten your wife's Mother Day card yet? I will be preaching this coming Sunday. It's been a long time since I preached on Mother's Day. First Samuel will be my choice of scriptures about Hannah and Samuel. I read a story about a dog that was thrown into a body if water in a swamp locked inside a kennel cage. How this man found her and his efforts to rescue her. I don't understand how people can be so mean and cruel. The pictures of the dog after the rescue and during the rescue were heart breaking. The dog is now well and beautiful. so happy to be alive and with a family. During the early days of the Old Fella Rescue I saw some terrible things, some of which still haunt be today. The love and trust from a puppy or an adult dog is sometimes their demise. I have seen dogs dumped with a dog bed and a blanket waiting for their owners to come back and get them. I watched a man dump puppies on the side of the road in a cardboard box. I turned around and went back to see what he was doing when he sped away. Lucky for the puppies I was there for them and they didn't die from the heat of lack of food and water. So many heartaches, so many cruel acts against the purest love and trust we will find here on this earth. Okay that's enough for this morning. I am going to close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hyg for me and be sre to tell someone you love them. |

Too bad we can't catch them and give them a taste of their wrong doing. Hopefully old KARMA will knock on their doors one day.

Good morning everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. Daughter Robin came to spend the weekend with us and went to church Sunday. What a blessing she has become. I thank God for the work He has done in her and through her. All is well here in the Deep South. It's a beautiful day as we get ready for a trip to Modoc. It's just a two day trip, Wednesday and Thursday and come home Friday. Services at church went well yesterday. My sermon was about Hannah and Samuel and how Hannah asked for a man child and God granted her request and then how she dedicated Samuel to the Lord and how he became a Judge over Israel and served God all of his life anointing Saul and David as kings over Israel. I need to get moving and cut grass before we leave so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |
