My Cookie has not been feeling too good this weekend so todsy we have a Vets appointment. Her stool has been really runny and this morning she was back to somewhat normal on her stool but she did throw up and it looked a little bloody. I don't know if it is the food or just her age, 14 years old. The food is the same she has been eating it for years. My other Shih Tzu is doing great and he eats the same food although not as quick as he usually does. I'm taking a sample of the food in to the Vet, along with a stool sample and I was able to get some of the vomit in a plastic bag.

The food is dry and a well known brand.

On the brighter side of the past few days the weather has been great, 70's during the days and high 40's at night. This is a lot better then Northern Utah, glad we moved. Don't miss the snow blower at all.

Hope Cookie is okay.

Thanks Richard, they ran several test/blood work and it appears to be a virus. They put her on two meds, one for her stool and the other for her nausea. So far so good.

The Vet didn't like the smell of the dry dog food, it might have been a bad batch.

Good morning everyone. It was 39 degrees here in the Deep South this morning. We have clear skies with lots of sunshine and it well warm up today to be in the 70's.

The fur gang is well. Sue just left with Dixie and Suzie for their morning walk. I don't know where the cat is. Maybe she is in her room. She just came into the room looking up as she walked by. Now she is on the back of the couch looking out the window watching for Sue and the girls to come back.

Yesterday I hooked the camper to the truck and pulled it up in the driveway next to the house. I had one heck of a time getting the camper hooked to the hitch. If you are not dead center with the pin going into the hitch the head will turn to an angle and never lock. Then if the pin pushes the head to a sharp angle it may bind and getting it to release becomes a major job. Anyway I am hooked and in the driveway.

I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. Just a note to mention that it is a shame that Notre Dame burned yesterday. For eight hundred years it has stood as part history. Such a landmark that has been destroyed. Sue told me it took five thousand oak trees to build it.

Good morning everyone. Yesterday I got a call from DR. Myer who I am scheduled to have eye surgery with April 29th. I was told my surgery will be postponed until June 3rd. After consulting with Dr. Chow it was concluded the only good eye I have has something going on that at this time it is not safe to any kind of surgery. Dr. Chow is a Retina specialist and he thinks I have a condition that the retina could detach during the removal of the cataract. So Dr. Chow is considering doing the surgery himself or maybe I will not have surgery at all. So to keep me in the loop they rescheduled me for June instead of dropping me altogether. The place they are concerned about is in the center of the eye and if it separates there I will have a hole in my vision and there is nothing that can be done for that.So keep me in your prayers as this continues to unfold.

Meanwhile we are leaving tomorrow to go to Magnolia Springs State Park. Son Scott will meet us there for a weekend of fishing and campfire meetings. We plan to visit some folks in Waynesboro while we are that close and go by and see the old home place.

Sue is out with Dixie and Suzie while Lizzie is on the back of the couch looking out the window. She waits for them to return and then talks to Sue about why she cannot go for a walk with them. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Wow.[emoticon]

We certainly hope the procedure is a success when you have it done.

Now that's funny, I was just going to say VIVA Lost Wages (Las Vegas) 80's during the day and 60's at night, just passing through on the way to Calif.
