We are in Charlotte, headed to Charlottesville today. Yes, some flurries in the forecast, but hoping it doesn't amount to anything. Says it won't stick and won't accumulate. Sure don't like driving the rig in that mess, though. Just have to take it easy. Can't wait to see Jocelyn and her family. It's just been too long. dturm wrote: ![]() The good news is that once these teeth abscess, the attachment to the bone is much less so the trauma from "digging" out the tooth and roots is much easier on them. This is usually the tooth that has three roots and the only thing keeping them in the mouth is the fact that there are three roots (think a stool with 3 legs or a tripod). When the tooth is split, it falls out. It is the tooth with the 3 roots. She had the same thing happen on the other side of her mouth 7 years ago. I just worry because she is 2 months shy of her 16th birthday so she is no spring chicken (even though she still acts like one). I worry about her being put to sleep for the procedure. She is scheduled for surgery around 10:30am this morning. 2018 Miramar 35.3 Motorhome 3 fur kids (Monty, ZuZu and Pinto) Rainbow bridge (Murphy, Petie, Lola) |

Good morning everyone. The snow is to the south if us and to the north of us. We seem to be caught in between as we haven't seen any snow in our area. The temperature is at 41 degrees so should it snow it won't accumulate, but still, snow in April here in the Deep South, really? Last night we went out to eat with our guest from Michigan. For desert we had a strawberry short cake that was at least a foot tall covered with whipped cream, strawberries and at the bottom was cake. They brought three spoons with it so each of us could have a taste. It was so full of sugar my blood sugar was still very high at one O'clock this morning, so I took more insulin and this morning it was still 187. Burch I wish you the best with Murphy. I know he will feel better once the tooth is removed. Suzie still has great teeth at twelve years old. I hope she continues to have them for a long time to come. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Murphy has been dropped off at the vets office. They hope to start at around 10:30 this morning. I am really nervous about her being put under at her age. She is such a sweet heart and is so active for her age. I have a picture of me holding Murphy in the palm of my hand when she was 10 days old. She is my baby. Burch |

Murphy is in recovery and is doing well per the vets office. I can't wait to go get her this afternoon. This procedure had me worried due to her age. Hopefully her pain will go away soon and she will be back to her crazy Jack Russell self! Burch |
