Murphy got dropped off early this morning to my mom's house. Murphy is doing much better and seemed her ole self this morning. She was very happy to see my mom. I think Murphy likes my mom better than Donna and I. I was a little worried about my mom watching her as my mom has been in discomfort with her back but mom was adamant that she wanted to watch Murf. My mom lets Murphy sleep in her bed along with my mom's beagle. Lilly Padd the beagle is a big beagle. She is 39 pounds! She is a sweetheart but is 12 years old and starting to have issues with her back hips. Mom said if she can pick up a 39 pound beagle with her back problems that she will have no trouble picking up a 17 pound Jack Russell.

I am not sure what time I will be able to leave work today. I was hoping to get out of here by 1pm and be on the road by 1:30 or so but I will have to see how the day goes. I am a little concerned with this storm coming from the Gulf. Our motorhome is 13 feet tall and 37 feet long and it is not fun driving in gusty winds. I plan on driving to Tifton, GA tonight and then leaving early tomorrow morning to head to Sevierville. Hopefully I can outrun the storm as is crosses into Georgia tomorrow morning.

Donna was playing pharmacist last night getting all of Murf's meds and things together for her stay with mom.

I am guessing that Murf was looking excited about the milk-bone biscuits, not the pharmaceuticals. [emoticon][emoticon]

Travel safely, Burch. Yeah, we just got here to Florida and . . .surprise. . . a storm system coming our way! Oops. But I think it's going to track north of us. Hope so. Stay clear!

Yup - going to hit us square on like Michael did last year. Fortunately, as storms go, this is relatively minor. Not even putting up the hurricane shutters! [emoticon]

Have fun at the rally everyone!

Good morning everyone. It's cool, but not cold here. The weekend is supposed to be nice. I took one of our propane tanks to be filled this morning. That should last us until we get home. I guess I will need to top off the one tank now in use for our Ohio trip coming up in November.

We are having a good time, just wish we had been able to have more folks with us.

The fur gang is well, enjoying themselves. Got word from home Lizzie is enjoying her vacation with Ava and her family. Ava sent a picture of Lizzie watching TV with them.

Okay I wish everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Still trying to get out of work so I can leave. I was supposed to have a meeting with my boss this morning but she got busy and she is now at a client. I am still hoping to get out by 3-3:30pm as I have about a 5 hour drive ahead of me.

I already miss Murphy but I know she is in good hands. My mom just texted me this picture of Murphy and Lilly the beagle. Murphy just got up from a nap.

I was finally able to get out of work around 3pm. We arrived in Tifton,GA around 9pm and are staying at the I75 RV Park. Perfect place for an overnight stop. All pull throughs so I didn’t have to unhook the Jeep. Will be leaving tomorrow early and hope to be at Riverside by 3pm or so.

Good morning everyone. Burch you still have about four hundred miles to get to Sevierville. Be careful and when you get here we have food planned for the early evening around 5 O'clock.

It has been a great week. The weather has been fairly nice. The trees are still green at our elevation, but in the upper part of the mountains at four thousand feet there is color.

Okay I am going to close now so I wish everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Good Morning FOOFs!

We made it to riverside a little before 3pm yesterday. So glad to finally meet some of the FOOF gang. What a great bunch of folks. We had a lot of rain last night and, so far, no leaks in the motorhome!

We are going to check out Sevierville and Pigeon Forge today. Our niece Rachael came with us and she has never been to this area. Hopefully the rain will let up today and we can have a campfire tonight.

Burch
